The APC Smart-UPS On-Line (SRT) and Smart-UPS Ultra On-Line (SRTL) ranges deliver continuous double-conversion protection for sensitive electronic equipment. Unlike line-interactive units, online UPS continuously regenerate the output sine wave from the DC bus, isolating the load from all input power anomalies. Recommended for medical equipment, broadcast, financial trading, and any application where source power quality is poor or load sensitivity is high.
The newer SRTL family uses lithium-ion batteries with a 10-year service life, dramatically reducing UPS footprint and total cost of ownership over the equipment lifecycle.
